Local Launches - Where we ride
Kiteboarding Rules for St. Andrews State Park - Effective March 15th - August 31stDuring the Spring and Summer, the State Park (Kite Beach) gets very busy with beach goers. We have established these simple rules to help ensure the safety of everyone, and to maintain our access to this pristine kiting spot. Always use common sense, and if you are new to the area or just visiting, please call the shop (850-235-2444) if you have any questions on where you can rig and ride. Please use the map below as a reference, the main thing to remember when kiting our beaches is to stay clear of all beach goers.
This is a quick rundown of some of the more popular spots we ride. Most bay launches are a little tricky, int/adv riders only. If you are kiting anywhere on the Gulf, please use common sense and stay clear of any other beach goers. If you are unsure of where to ride, stop by the shop and we'll give you the heads up. Usually, if it's blowing out of the SE, S or SW we are riding on the Gulf, if it's blowing out of the N, NW we're over at the Island, E & NE we hit St. George Island, or some secret spots in the bays. There's tons of great riding as well to the East of us in Mexico Beach, Cape San Blas, St. George Island and more!
